Discography Number Two! With 23 new songs, the restless Grindpunks of CLOUD RAT are back. All songs have been released on various splits and EPs in the last year. The interface between Grind, Hardcore and Powerviolence has always been a big throw and is known for producing albums that often contain more than 15 songs. Michigans CLOUD RATL are no exception. After their third album "Qliphoth" (2015) and several following tours through Europe and North America and a first discography (2016), the band now releases discography number two. The 23 songs were released during the last year on various EPs and Splits (with MOLOCH, DISROTTED, CREVASSE, TEST, THE WORLD IS A VAMPIRE) and now appear collected. Unlike so many other bands of this genre, CLOUD RAT offer the listener a great variety in the songs. Of course, they burn off a blast beat firework, but they also leave room for classic punk or hardcore passages. You can even spot light Death Metal or Postrock (!) Elements. The focus of CLOUD RAT has always been on being a live band since the beginning of their band‘s history. The band plays 100 to 150 shows a year - not only in their american homeland.
