At times the instrumentation is minimalist in approach, choosing to focus on a melancholic piano melody and haunting vocals with a considered restraint for full emotive effectiveness, such as in the song Sørunej. At other times, sounds are bursting forth with an urgency that showcases the contrasting capabilities andcompositional maturity present in the artful songwriting. Disrupt and the title track Tar are two key songs in which we are given an insight into the darkest parts of the soul, both lyrically and sonically.

CORECASS, the brainchild of musician, songwriter, and artist Elinor Lüdde, stands as a testament to creative freedom and musical innovation. Since its inception in 2014, Lüdde has released one album and two EPs, consistently pushing the envelope of conventional music. Rooted in a neo-classical approach, CORECASS transcends traditional boundaries by blending piano, organ, drums, harp and electric guitar into a dark, atmospheric, and cinematic soundscape that defes clichés and explores new creative limits.
The debut album Sacer marked the beginning of this versatile project, showcasing Lüdde's free-spirited creativity. Just two years later, in 2016, the digital EP Quasar furthersolidifed her unique profle. Following the impactful single Magma (2018), CORECASS released the critically acclaimed album V O I D in 2020 through Golden Antenna Records. CORECASS has shared the stage with renowned acts like Amenra, Jo Quail, Ben Frost, Moritz Fasbender, and Hendrik Otremba. In 2024 she performed at prestigious events like dunk!festival and Culthe Fest.
