HEAVEN IN HER ARMS - Erosion Of The Black Speckle 2xLP

About ten years ago, Tokyo‘s HEAVEN IN HER ARMS released their debut album „Erosion of the Black Speckle“ on the small Swiss label APE MUST NOT KILL APE RECORDS. Followed by their first european tour, the first press of this album was sold out immediately. The album then reappeared only in an exclusive Japanese edition (CD-only) with additional songs. Over 10 years passed and HEAVEN IN HER ARMS toured through Europe, Russia and numerous Asian countries. With „Paraselene“ and various EPs / Splits, the band was still very active over the years. Right in time for their upcoming and new album „White Halo“, „Erosion of the Black Speckle“ will now be re-released on vinyl through Moment of Collapse Records! However, this time „Erosion Of The Black Speckle“ will be available in an extended version and contains the songs that were previously only available on the Japanese CD version. The former single LP has become a double LP. On this album the musically development of the band is already apparent. Even if HEAVEN IN HER ARMS have become the worthy successors of ENVY (or at least sound like as they used to be), their sound on „Erosion of the Black Speckle“ was rougher and more desperate. In other words, this record was heavily influenced by elements of Hardcore and Screamo! However, the band was already capable of decent songwriting and so is „Erosion of the Black Speckle“ even nowadays a fantastic record!
