RED APOLLO / WITHERS - Split 7''

This split marks the third and final part of Red Apollo’s Transgression trilogy, which was released through three different split 7”es. The songs “mental enlightenment” sets a decent ending to this series and is defined by a dragging beginning which leads through urging guitarlines and collapsing walls of sound to an epic ending. Guided by a very strong voice, this song is a carbon based beast out of the depths of sludge, post hardcore and black metal.

Withers contribute their song “Inflame. Exhume. Resign.”, which is a hybrid of forward raging hardcore and crushing segments of desperation. After a debut 7” and their last album, this song foreshadows what to expect from Withers in the future. Apart from so many others, they manage to hit the mark in seconds.
