RIAH - Autumnalia LP

The band RiAH was born in Bologna in November 2015 as a duo guitar and
drums from an idea of Flavio Di Bella and Rocco Catturani. During the October
2016 Diego Ruggeri joined the band as bass player; the band‘s sound
begun to became clearer and more mature. The trio, taking inspiration from
differents genres, tries to blend the typical heaviness of the Post metal and
Math-Core with the atmosphere and the dreamlike sensation of the Post
Rock and of the Ambient.

With this formation RIAH held shows in the northern
Italy also sharing the stages with the Australians DUMBSAINT and the
Polish band TIDES FROM NEBULA. In September 2017 the guitarist Francesco
Begnoni has joined the band, bringing new ideas to let the band grow
thank to his great experience. The band’s sound is now complete and they
fi nally found their own musical identity. In March 2018 the band enters the
studio‘s s door, AUTUMNALIA is the result: the very fi rst album recorded
and mixed by Enrico Baraldi at Vacuum Studio and at Waiting Room Audio;
the mastering has been made by Magnus Lindberg.

During the recording session the visual artist Francesca Bonci (who has collaborated with WE DESERVE THIS, SHOW ME A DINOSAUR) joined the band and will support
the music for the further concerts. AUTUMNALIA tells about the Fall season
as the beginning of the transience of life.
