Avant-Cour (architectural con- and deconstruction) is Ryloth second sign of life. After their one track demo „Archipelago“ the band kept on writing further material, that led to fi ve songs that got recorded and mixed by Fabian Schulz at Sunsetter Recording Studio and mastered by Jack Shirley at the Atomic Garden.
The music on „Avant-Cour“ can be described as grown and offers a healthy mixture of screamo, posthardcore, atmospheric black metal and ambient passages. Those scifi -nerds gain inspiration from classical author Isaac Asimov to fi ctive characters like Roberta Draper. Ryloth is well connected in the diy-scene, so they invited a couple of friends for guestvocals. So you cand fi nd Eoin on „Asimov Filter“, spoken words on „Deleuzian Chant“ by Steph from Lord Snow and additional vocals on „I wish I was dreaming“ by Dani from Niboowin. We are happy to help releasing this honest archievement of heartfelt music.
