'This Is A Split' is the newest output by the French Sugartown Cabaret (members of Karysun, Amanda Woodward, Aussitot Mort). After the highly recommandable LP 'Beyond Foams', which got good critics in many zines and blogs, the 4 guys from the north of France come up with a 10" now. This onesided record has two absolute catchy songs on the a-side. The b-side comes with an artful screenprint. The songs are driven by the dynamic guitarlines, which let me always think about: At Thee Drive In and Aussitot Mort. The unique voice of singer Maedric gives a very own trademark to all songs of the band.
