THE COLD - Certainty Of Failure CD

With „Certainty Of Failure“ THE COLD from Hamburg release their debut album. Two pre-released songs on Bandcamp already gave a little pre-taste in the last year. The quartet (with of members of the post-metal group HERETOIR / KING APATHY, the thrash hardcore band CATARACT, the hardcore ensemble GRAND GRIFFON and the crust band SUNLUN) contributes another nine songs to their debut.

Extremely furious and fervent the sound combines Melodic hardcore punk of the early / mid-2000s (anywhere between MODERN LIFE IS WAR, AMERICAN NIGHTMARE, BOY SETS FIRE or HAVE HEART) and pissed off political lyrics. As the album title proclaims, the songs deal with the negative social and political developments of recent years. Police violence, gentrification, treatment of refugees, conformism or opression, just to list a few buzz words.
