With “Det Vi Glömt, Det Vi Kommer Ihåg Och Det Som Aldrig Har Hänt”, Vi Som Älskade Varandra Så Mycket bring together scattered fragments of their early history into a cohesive whole. The nine-track 12'' compiles material that had never previously appeared on vinyl: the band’s first two EPs, originally released only in digital form, two unreleased tracks from the recording session of their first 12”, a song that was previously available only on a split cassette and “För varje steg”, a piece recorded exclusively for this release.

Despite the diverse origins of these recordings, the album feels remarkably unified. The Swedish post-hardcore group’s characteristic sound unfolds through expansive guitar textures, melancholic melodies, and patiently built dynamics. Quiet, atmospheric passages gradually evolve into powerful crescendos, creating emotional depth and showcasing the band’s distinct compositional approach.

The release is completed by original artwork from Martin Jacobsson, who also created the covers for the band’s previous full-length records. Visually and musically, the album reframes the past - an evocative collection of memories that reveals just how much emotional power was already present in the band’s early work.
